K’en T’em Limited Partnership (KTLP) is a for-profit corporation committed to providing the Nlaka’pamux people of the eight Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly (CNA) Participating Bands with the resources that will help them efficiently create, manage and operate business opportunities. The eight Participating Bands include Ashcroft, Boston Bar, Coldwater, Cook’s Ferry, Nicomen, Nooaitch, Shackan, and Siska. K’en T’em is mandated to explore business opportunities that are created by proponents working in the unceded territory of the Nlaka’pamux people. Building relationships with proponents is a vital step for K’en T’em to support our Participating Bands in becoming self-sustaining and vital economic communities.
Established in 2015, K’en T’em is a 100% Indigenous-owned company that offers environmental monitoring, cultural heritage, and printing/design services. We are leaders at putting cross-cultural values at the forefront of our business while prioritizing simple, efficient, integrative solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. K’en T’em has built a reputation known for delivering an experienced, qualified, reliable and competitive service focused around quality and integrity through its work on both resource and industrial projects.
K’en T’em is committed to maintaining the Nlaka’pamux standard of land-resource management in all levels of its work. All K’en T’em activities are pursued using a community first approach. K’en T’em will ensure maximum benefit back to the communities of interest through innovative job and contracting creation. Together with industry partners, while being backed by a local workforce, K’en T’em provides a full suite of specialized contracting services and is able to support all aspects of resource and industrial development projects occurring within the Nlaka’pamux Territory.
