Position Purpose
K’en T’em is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Fleet Coordinator. The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and coordination of all fleet vehicles and equipment. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, performs preventative maintenance, and manages scheduling for fleet servicing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment,
Oversee fleet tracking software, including GPS tracking,
Perform scheduling of fleet assets for field projects,
Diagnose mechanical and technical issues and implement solutions,
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service schedules,
Coordinate and schedule fleet servicing and inspections to minimize downtime,
Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and regulatory requirements,
Responsible for cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles,
Source parts and manage inventory for fleet maintenance,
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for external repairs and servicing,
Assist in budgeting and cost control for fleet operations,
Train drivers and operators on basic maintenance and safety protocols,
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or fleet maintenance preferred,
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance or a related role,
Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies,
Valid BC driver’s license and vehicle,
Valid Standing First Aid Certificate.
Attention to detail and observation ability,
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment,
Strong organizational and communication skills,
Ability to work in all weather conditions,
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities,
