K’en T’em Limited Partnership had a great day connecting with community members at the 2025 Employment & Education Fair at NVIT Merritt on April 9. With over 50 employers and hundreds of attendees, the event was full of energy, conversation, and opportunity.
The day was organized by Citxw Nlaka'pamux Assembly, K'en T'em, NVIT, Scw'exmx Tribal Council, WorkBC, the City of Merritt, and Community Futures Nicola Valley.
At our booth, we had the chance to chat with people about current job openings, career growth, and what it’s like to work with K’en T’em. These kinds of conversations are what it’s all about: hearing people’s goals, sharing what we do, and looking for ways we can support their path forward.
Creating opportunities for our members is a key part of why we’re here. Being present in spaces like this helps us stay connected and focused on what matters most.
A big thank you to all involved in this event, including NVIT for sharing their space with us, and to Citxw Nlaka’pamux Assembly, Cantex Mining Services, our K’en T’em partners, and especially our community members who joined us throughout the day. It was great to see everyone coming together to support employment, education, and community growth.
If you didn’t make it out, you can still explore current opportunities at www.kentem.ca/jobs. We’re always glad to connect.
kʷukʷstéyp (kwukw-shteyp) - thank you from all of us!
